At the Qs, you're not competing against other products in your category. Each entry is judged on its own merits so if it performs well against our 10-point criteria, it will win a Q. This means we may award multiple Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in each category – or none at all! If your product is excellent, it has a strong chance of being recognised—regardless of what else is entered.

About the Quality Food Awards
The Quality Food Awards is the UK's longest-standing awards in the grocery retail sector, recognising and celebrating excellence in food quality for the past 46 years. It showcases the best products through rigorous judging criteria, covering taste, flavor, texture, aroma, and other key factors. The awards highlight industry-leading innovations across various categories, providing winners and runners-up with significant marketing opportunities through the use of the prestigious "Q" logo.
The 2025 Awards Event
The Quality Food Awards’ event re-launched in a brand new event format last year, and was a huge success for retailers, producers, brands, wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors and the foodservice sector. The 2025 Quality Food Awards event promises to be another must-attend event for representatives from across the industry to discover the best products in the business and rub shoulders with senior representatives and decision makers.
The event will be split into two areas:
- The Networking Space will have quality food and drink served throughout the night, with entertainment and the opportunity to network.
- The Awards Space will showcase this year’s bronze, silver and gold winners in a presentation with different category sectors revealed at different points throughout the night.
