Country Range Group welcomes Valley Foods as new member for 2025
The Country Range Group expands its network by adding Valley Foods, reflecting continued growth and collaboration within the foodservice sector.
The Country Range Group (CRG) has announced the addition of Valley Foods as its latest foodservice wholesale member as it enters 2025. This addition follows the welcoming of five new members into the group in 2024, reflecting an ongoing trend of growth within the organisation.
Valley Foods, known for its commitment to working closely with local producers and suppliers, joins a network that now comprises 15 member businesses and 17 wholesalers. This expanded group covers a diverse geographical area, including the entire United Kingdom, Ireland, coastal Spain, and Jersey, thereby enhancing its reach and influence within the foodservice sector.
With an annual turnover of £14 million, Valley Foods boasts a diverse portfolio of over 5,500 products. The company employs 50 staff members and operates a fleet of 17 vans, dedicated to supplying the needs of chefs and cooks across public catering and hospitality markets.
Helen Clackett, director at Valley Foods, expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership, stating, “2024 was another positive year for our business so we’re incredibly excited to be joining the Country Range Group as we push for even more in 2025. We have no doubt that the Group’s product portfolio, analysis, insights and buying power will make us stronger, improve our offering and ensure continuous improvement.”
The integration into the Country Range Group is expected to provide Valley Foods with substantial advantages, including enhanced buying power, access to a robust three-tiered own brand portfolio, and opportunities for targeted promotions. Moreover, the company will benefit from comprehensive data and insights, as well as extensive marketing campaigns designed to bolster its presence in the competitive foodservice landscape.
This strategic partnership illustrates the ongoing evolution and collaboration within the UK foodservice sector, aimed at both enhancing local community ties and improving service delivery across various catering operations.
