Fish Categories

Any fish fillet or fish mix either plain or with an accompanying butter or sauce that otherwise has not been prepared beyond basic filleting e.g. cod loins, tuna steak, salmon fillets with butter. For breadcrumbs – see ‘Prepared Fish’.

Fish that has been processed beyond basic filleting e.g. in breadcrumbs, goujons, fishcakes, en croute, coated etc.

Any shellfish or seafood already cooked or to be cooked at home e.g. prawns, seafood selections, mussels

Any smoked fish e.g. smoked salmon, smoked trout
