Cadbury has quietly introduced a new summer-inspired Dairy Milk flavour in the UK, featuring a Strawberries & Creme Frappe bar that combines fruity layers with crispy rice pieces, sparking online excitement despite lacking a formal announcement.

Cadbury has quietly added a new summer flavour to its Dairy Milk range in the UK, with shoppers reporting sightings of a Strawberries & Creme Frappe bar in stores including Morrisons and The Food Warehouse. Photos shared on social media suggest the bar is already being hunted down by fans, although Cadbury has not made a formal online announcement about the launch.

The new tablet takes its cue from a fruity summer drink, pairing classic Dairy Milk chocolate with a creamy layer and crispy strawberry-flavoured rice pieces. An Instagram post from @treatsinstore showed the bar priced at £1.75, and the limited-edition label means it is unlikely to stay on shelves for long.

The release follows a familiar pattern for Cadbury, which has repeatedly brought back Strawberries & Creme products over the past decade. Talking Retail reported that the flavour first appeared in 2013, returned in 2014 because of demand, and was relaunched again in 2015 as a seasonal limited edition. Back then, Cadbury linked the product to the popularity of strawberry flavour and its association with British summer.

The latest version is not an exact repeat of the old bar. Earlier Strawberry & Creme tablets used a smooth strawberry filling, while this new frappe-inspired take adds a crispier texture. That twist appears to have struck a chord online, with social media users describing it as "incredible" and saying they would keep an eye out for it.

Cadbury has also been expanding elsewhere in its dessert and confectionery range. Müller UK & Ireland recently announced two new Cadbury Dairy Milk sharing pot desserts, one with Twirl pieces and another with Oreo biscuit pieces, while the company has separately confirmed a Golden Dipped Twirl for the UK later this year. Taken together, the launches suggest Cadbury is leaning heavily on nostalgia, novelty and limited runs to keep its core brands in constant rotation.
